The Terrace had a great turnout at our lunch-and-learn event for Brightmore’s independent living residents! Happy Easter from The Terrace! Holiday celebrations are always festive and fun time together when everyone joins.
To celebrate Easter, our Independent Living Busy Bees group had an Easter Bonnet Competition Residents could participate by bringing their most festive homemade Easter Bonnet. Alba’s Easter Bunny hat won first place. Carole’s butterfly hat won second place. Mary Jo’s Easter candy hat won third place. What a creative bunch we have!
This morning, our Independent Living Veterans gathered for the monthly Veteran’s Club. This club allows us to thank our Veterans for their service while they create new friendships with residents from similar backgrounds.
Our Independent Living residents partnered with FirstLight Home Care to make 400 sandwiches for Roof Above, feeding the homeless in Charlotte. What a wonderful way for our residents to give back to our community!
