At Brightmore of South Charlotte, the kitchen is more than a place to dine. It is where connection and creativity come to life.
Through the Teaching Kitchens program, independent living residents step behind the scenes every other month to learn, taste, and create alongside the culinary team. Guided by the Head Chef and Culinary Director, each session introduces a new recipe, from handmade pasta to fresh quinoa salad or artisan pizzas. Residents follow along step by step, picking up techniques while enjoying thoughtfully paired wine.
The experience goes beyond cooking. It creates meaningful connections with the people who prepare each meal, turning questions into conversations and conversations into camaraderie.
