Fun, Friends, and Friendly Competition

Our residents jumped right into one of our most anticipated traditions, the Brightmore of South
Charlotte’s Olympic Games.

Launched by Liberty Senior Living in 2018 for its independent living communities, the Games
are designed to stimulate movement, mental engagement, and meaningful connections. This
year we introduced ALympics for The Terrace at Brightmore assisted living residents.

Laughter and friendly competition filled the week as residents competed in fun events including a weeklong scavenger hunt, theme days, fundraising and philanthropic activities.

Top independent living competitors from Brightmore’s Olympic Games headed to their sister
community Hayes Barton Place in Raleigh in March to represent their community in the
corporate-wide Liberty Senior Games.
