Brightmore on the Menu: Chef Hassan Wows on WCCB


Chef Hassan Aberchah stepped into the spotlight on WCCB’s


Up n Adam’ feature, providing viewers a taste of what Brightmore residents enjoy every day.
Joined by host Adam Wurtzel, Chef Hassan prepared a classic steakhouse favorite, Steak Oscar,
featuring seared filet mignon topped with lump crab meat, asparagus, and Béarnaise sauce,
finished with seasonal squash, Brussels sprouts, and fresh microgreens. It was elegant,
indulgent, and beautifully balanced.


As Adam took his first bite, his reaction was immediate. Phenomenal! He noted that this kind of
elevated cuisine is not what most people imagine when they think of senior living dining. At
Brightmore, it is how things are done.


A finalist in Liberty Senior Living’s Top Chef Competition, Chef Hassan brings extensive
international culinary experience to the table. His seasonally inspired menus span global flavors,
from American and Italian to Moroccan, Korean, and Chinese, turning every meal into
