Meet Jaclyn Roth, CTRS Our New Activities Director

My name is Jaclyn Roth. I’ve lived in Charlotte for 17 years. Serving The Terrace at Brightmore as Activities Director is exciting! As a proud graduate , I will now be able to put my Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, to a great use. Specifically, I will serve as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
Moving forward, the goals for Brightmore’s Activities Program, especially in response to COVID-19, include providing residents with purposeful, goal-oriented activities. These activities will help decrease social isolation, promote the use of healthy coping skills, and improve their overall mood.
In my free time, I love to read, go hiking with my family, and try out new cooking recipes. I frequently blow off some steam at the gym, express myself creatively, and volunteer within my community.
