Meet Julie!

Julie Varnadore, LPN is the Administrator at The Terrace at Brightmore. When asked to describe working at The Terrace in one word, she said GRATIFYING .
“I’ve always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives which was what led me to pursue nursing as my second career. My passion for serving older adults started with my grandmother who dreamed of being a nurse. At The Terrace, I’m able to honor her memory every day.”
Believe it or not, Julie has been managing The Terrace since we first opened in 2015! A few of her responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership in innovation and creativity with regard to providing residents with excellent culinary services and progressive programming.
- Regularly monitoring residents, meeting with families to discuss changes in their condition, and brainstorming how to best meet their needs.
- Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing personnel and departmental policies and procedures
She believes prospective families should choose The Terrace for their loved ones because we treat our residents like they are extensions of our own families. Her goal from the beginning has been to build a community that is a happy place to live and work.
