Falconry Presentation at Brightmore
Brightmore of South Charlotte recently had the pleasure of hosting Falconer and Naturalist, Eric Harrold for a presentation exploring the sport of Falconry.
Falconry is an ancient practice in which hawks, falcons, eagles and other birds of prey are trained to cooperatively hunt with a human companion. Eric explained the process from obtaining a Falconer license to training your bird to hunt by displaying photos of his experiences. “Joe Cool”, one of Eric’s Harris hawks also participated in the presentation.
The residents at Brightmore thoroughly enjoyed learning about the sport and asking Eric questions about his personal experience with Falconry.
